This has been the only viable “plan” the Democrats have been able to come up with for the Mid-Term elections.

Disqualification of Republicans already in office.
It won’t work, but they will double down on it.

This is the brainchild of Marc Elias - now Hip Deep in the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax. Also his brainchild.
Pretty Slimy people.

Marc Erik Elias is an American Democratic Party elections lawyer. In 2021, he left his position as a partner at Perkins Coie to start the Elias Law Group. Elias served as general counsel for the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign and John Kerry 2004 presidential campaign

Democrats’ loose talk of ‘disqualification’ still dangerous- The Hill - January 4, 2022

This week, Democratic lawyer Marc Elias predicted that 2022 would bring a renewed interest in qualifying Republican members from office based on an obscure Civil War-era provision. Elias — the former Hilary Clinton campaign general counsel — is a well-known figure in Washington. Elias has founded a self-described “pro-democracy” group that challenges Republican voting laws and pledges that will “shape our elections and democratic institutions for years to come.”

In the age of rage, nothing says democracy like preventing people from running for office.

Elias and others are suggesting that — rather than defeat Republicans at the polls — Democrats in Congress could disqualify the Republicans for supporting or encouraging the Jan. 6 “insurrection.” Last year, Democratic members called for the disqualification of dozens of Republicans. One, Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) demanded the disqualification of the 120 House Republicans — including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy(R-Calif.) — for simply signing a “Friend of the Court brief” (or amicus brief) in support of an election challenge from Texas.

This particular ruling is for a Republican who lost his Primary. He is not even running for office. That’s how Hysterical Meltdown Nutter the Democrats are.

Then US Supreme Court will address it, the decision should be Unanimous.
Of course the ‘Wise Latina’ has very distant relationship with the Constitution and Reason, so it may not be Unanimous.

Wrong. It is up to the courts to decide. So first the Justice department has to arrest them and file charges against them. It is quite possible they can plea bargain down to something less and still be able to serve in office. Even if there is no plea they have to go to trial. It will take just one "there was no insurrection" fanatic to deadlock the jury and cause a mistrial. I am pretty sure few charges will be filed against seated members of Congress. So stop with the fake news bull.

What ever works for you. It's your truth, your reality, you are free to make it whatever you want. After watching that "what is a woman" documentary, it's clear that the "woke" live in a reality of their own making, to whatever suits them, so why can't the rest of us ?

Is there any point to having an election when you "disqualify" those who might vote against you?

Why not just call it what it is? Despotism. No point in wasting time with a show vote. Reminds me of the African nation whose despotic leader won the election with more "votes" than the entire population of the nation.
