The hyper-partisanship began from the right after Obama’s election, with the tea party but also those in the government, like Boehner’s vow to block anything Obama tried to pass. Trump and Fox made it exponentially worse.
There were only no shots fired because they refused to remove the magnetometers like Trump wanted. I don’t see how any thinking person could dismiss Jan 6, it is the darkest day in the history of the presidency. Even those who were there admitted they were trying to upend the election because Trump wanted them to.
That's right. I didn't know there was anything "wrong" until after Obama's election when Republicans started acting really funny, even saying they would vote against everything he wanted. It's never worked that way before. We used to all get behind the new President, not automatically vote against everything without even thinking. We always compromised. It's the American way.

I don't care if it's a ratings thing or what but I'm glad I caught it this time. I'm waiting to hear what was said earlier today about corroboration on Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony about the altercation in the car. I still thing the whole thing is shameful to this country. In all my years, I've never witnessed such hate and anger to others simply because of politics. My personal thoughts are that I'm almost glad I'm at the later stage of my life now. I can't imagine what this country will be like another ten, twenty years from now.
