A few decades later and a different party and I guess he would have been celebrated as the "alpha male" he was for cheating on three wives? Different times, I suppose.
Who "celebrates" cheaters? Because they vote for someone? Do you seriously think people didn't know Clinton, of JFK, etc., were womanizers?

Was I "outraged" by the rape allegations...I didn't see any proof. I don't know if any of these men raped anyone. I hate having to disbelieve until there is proof but when one is in power, people will make accusations. I don't KNOW about any of those accusations, not for any of the three of them.
So. You weren't outraged? Or you were, or what?
I spent a great deal of time researching every single rape/sexual allegation that was made about Trump before I could even decide to vote for him. I, like you, didn't see any proof.
On January 10, 2018, ahead of an investigative report released by St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV the same evening, Greitens publicly disclosed that he had engaged in an extramarital affair with his hairstylist in 2015. In February 2018, Greitens was charged with felony invasion of privacy and later with campaign-related offenses. He was indicted on felony charges of computer tampering in April 2018; all charges were dropped in May 2018. Greitens resigned from office on June 1, 2018, after the Missouri General Assembly commenced a special session to consider impeachment. Also in early 2018, Greitens's former hairdresser accused him of sexual assault. She accused him of coercing her to perform oral sex, undressing, kissing and touching her without her consent, and threatening to release a nude photo of her if she told anyone about their encounter. After Greitens's wife filed an affidavit against him in March 2022 accusing him of physical abuse, Senator Josh Hawley also urged Greitens to drop out, saying, "If you hit a woman or a child, you belong in handcuffs, not the United States Senate."
Whether or not Missouri's next senator will be Greitens is completely up to Republican primary voters, since there is no path for a Democrat to win a Senate election in the state during Biden's presidency. The other contenders in the Republican primary (Schmitt, Hartzler, McCloskey, etc.) come across as highly conservative as well, so the chance of the state ending up with a "RINO" senator is negligible. The new senator will be pro-Trump, pro-life, pro-guns, and anti-everything that angers the #MAGA loyalists.
