Only problem with bangers mowing down bangers is occasionally bystanders catch a stray. Otherwise it's all good. You can let the bangers bang in no-go zones, or at historically that's how it's been handled. The idea that you'll have the hands-off approach citywide though is definitely a new experiment. I'll get some popcorn. Should be fun.
Except now they're bringing their mayhem all over the city: Millennium Park, River North, North Avenue Beach, Boystown, Wrigleyville, wherever.
Can the cops shoot at them stinkers from standing at the current position and using a long range gun or better yet a missile? That will be nice. Stand and deliver!

Yep, I remember that.
The real story there was about a young kid with no dad and an absentee party mom that would let him disappear for days at a time....getting drug into gang life.
Who got blamed?
The police and guns.
Yeah, a lot of people catch strays but thats the price of *progress* I suppose.
Oh, it makes sense in Chicago. If police don't bother catching criminals in the first place, then DAs and judges won't have to be bothered to put them back on the streets.

If there's no criminals to arrest, then certainly no crime is being committed.
It's excellent Chicago logic.
