The unborn are not persons. Future persons, perhaps, but while in the womb. And that's ignoring the fact that it's despicable of anyone to force a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term. It's no one's business but hers.
Please point me to where that is clearly legally defined. And can said legal definition be change? By whom?
Now as a blanket statement, it's pure nonsense, and smack of the same logic that Hitler used to exterminate the Jews. "Those Jews aren't actually people. They're demons masquerading as human beings!" And by thusly dehumanizing a group of human beings, now anyone wishing to kill said human beings could now do so with impunity. After all, "those Jews weren't actually people."
Same logic. Different group of humans. Dehumanizing people in order to excuse murdering them is disgusting and really needs to stop.
Those people are living off life support, and need breathing and feeding tubes.
So when do you want to pull their plug?
“Sorry doctor, they’re in a coma but we need to pull the plug. They’ll never notice it!”
Plugs are pulled all the time when doctor and family so decide. Is removing medical care considered murder? I don't think so. Do you?
And again, those people are not living inside another person and directly feeding off her blood supply.
Born or not born makes a difference.
