A decade ago, the Supreme Court ruled that bribery equals free speech, and is therefore protected by the first amendment. Corruption is essentially legal in the USA. Big Business can buy any policy or politician they want, and it’s totally legal!
The USA is practically owned by Big Business, and they are certainly not going to allow Left wing economic policies.
The Left in America is basically the LGBT movement, and that’s it. On literally every other issue the Right has won, and is scoring new victories every week.
You forget that the left is also the "virtual" open borders crowd to and so far they are winning that battle. They are also winning all the "woke" and CRT policies to.

Good, rural, hardworking, God fearing, patriotic American farmers getting massive government handouts IS NOT socialism. On the other hand, poor black and brown Americans getting food stamps IS socialism.

If you split the country into two, each of those would inevitably be split into two or more factions. Do those split into two? Where does it stop? A more useful approach is to work out your differences.

What do you think is going to happen when one day 60% want to abandon the constitution for a new socialist order and 40% want to keep the constitution? Democracy is majority rules, the 40% are going to see it as dissolving the nation and not just gonna go along.
Go further. Split up by the states and become more like the EU with all states participating.
It would definitely curtail the creeping power and $$$ greed sought by the Federal Government.
It would still allow everyone to be an American and travel to whatever state they wanted.
