Payback is coming and you won’t like it.
You are again exhibiting the Red vs. Blue thought that is so destructive. You see "Blue team does something bad" which warrants "Red team retaliation". You are so blinded by partisanship that you are completely unwilling to consider, maybe, that Trump is a crook.

In law, of course.

If evidence is found that Trump has stolen classified materials, it takes a judge's approval before the FBI can act to preserve and recover the material. That way, the suspected thief is protected from abuse by the police ... they MUST show evidence to a judge as to why they believe stolen goods are on the property. This is standard procedure.

For a former president, they need to be doubly sure. They aren't raiding his home just to intimidate him, they are looking for things.

So Trump can claim to be innocent, he can claim that this raid is unfair, and he can even claim innocence in a court of law, if it comes to that.

Unless he is convicted, he will be presumed innocent by law.

But if items are recovered from there, we will know about it.

Let's pay attention to this story.

If Trump thinks these were his personal papers he's a bigger nit wit than even I thought.

The FBI assured the Trump election when their spokesperson condemned Billary days before the election.

There will be at least one indictment coming. The only thing we don’t know is when. You heard it here first.

"indictment watch"

Good phrase. Will have to remember that one

It's pretty incredible that the DOJ raided Trump's house. I suspect they have some serious evidence of crime before they would take a step like this. Otherwise the political implications of their actions are potentially explosive. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I wonder how long they judge-shopped to find a judge that would sign off on it.

Federal Magistrate judges are appointed by District Court judges, not the President.

This comment is so random. I'm not aware of any probable cause to "take disantes out". Trump had cause, and the warrant was signed by a judge HE APPOINTED.

The "FBI is being weaponized" schtick is getting old. Anything that doesn't anoint Trump is considered a conspiracy by his base. When will they finally pull their heads out of their back-sides?
