Exactly. The Trump team had been cooperating completely with the DOJ and records office. But those were the professionals. Garland came in with the political action committee wing of the FBI, who brought their fishing gear with them.
Garland lied and says this was a focused search, which simply means he puppets threw a large fishing net over everything, took it back to their den, to see what they netted. Garland will make up whatever charges he want, and tell the corrupt news media how to spin it in a way that the stupid people will believe.

It is when you are POTUS. Anyone else is delegated the task of declassifying documents and therefore has to follow a procedure but POTUS does not as he is the ultimate authority when it comes to declassification.
Yes POTUS has the AUTHORITY to declassify most things. He still needs to follow procedure and have it documented. Otherwise, nobody would know he did it.
Regardless of what you think of the Russian collusion probe, it’s clear Wray was not Trump’s man. He would never pick someone with those views.
Wray is one of the few competent hires Trump ever made. Most of them were hired because they were lapdogs, sycophants, and boot lickers willing to help Trump stay out of trouble and enrich himself.
So it is now being reported that he did indeed have highly classified/SCI documents at his home. Regardless of how he got them out he had them. Instead of people deflecting to how did he get them out why not focus on the fact that he did have them in his possession. If this turns out to be the case do you think he should be prosecuted?
We have only the DOJ's word on that and their track record is abysmal. The Warrant wasn't for "classified materials" -- it was for ALL materials during Trump's 4 year Presidency.
They claim they had a mole who told them what they were looking for and where to look for it…
So why was the Warrant not just for the 3 areas they told us - but was for the entire Estate and all rooms not occupied by guests (Mar-A-Lago is closed for the summer) and then spent NINE HOURS searching including in Melania’s wardrobe.
Kind of a clue they didn’t find what they were looking for. They were Fishing & possibly Planting
If the FBI waited 18 months to seize "nuclear documents" from a country club, everyone at the agency should be fired. This was so urgent that even after being given full access, they chose to leave material behind - 6 weeks later an Emergency Demand for a Search Warrant, so urgent they sat on it for 3 days waiting for the Trump Family to leave town.

So if there are similar memos and directives for all of the Top Secret documents seized in the raid, it might be true that he declassified everything. (But it's still not relevant.)
