They can afford $62,000+ a year and reside in a neighborhood with more problems than many third-world countries.

Meh... People reap the results of what they vote for.

For those that did not vote for lunacy, time to move out and protect yourselves and your children.

They are democrats who voted for democrat politicians and the policies that have created these situations.

They have no one to blame but themselves. Maybe they will connect the dots and become sane at some point, but that is unlikely. Democrats have an uncanny inability to understand how thier political views destroy communities and make them more dangerous and less livable .

All these people who spent a fortune for their condos or brownstones figured that they wouldn't be affected by the increased crime in NYC. I bet they aren't feeling so smug now. One man said in the video I saw that he is thinking of selling his place. I hope he realizes that if it does sell, he is going to lose money on the deal.

Well...they got what they voted for, so no sympathy for any of them, except for the kids who witness this depravity while in the school playground.

Manhattan neighborhood with average rent of $62,000 a year "permeated with violence, nudity, smoking and even sex dens"

Do they charge admission?

Innovative way(s) to allay the rent cost....

So obscene. Who is paying that much for rent besides short term Airbnb rentals? If you have that much to spend on rent you probably easily have a million or so lying around to buy a condo
