I can see being for black lives and being anti fascism as positive attributes. The Proud Boys and this 'straight coalition' sure seem to be putting out a more antagonistic view as to other innocent folks. So they are not mirror images.
Did proud boy riots cause $8 billion in images, and kill like 75 people?

Oh, wait that was BLM.

Since "BLM" is a movement, an organization and a slogan, your assessment of what it is responsible for defies verification.

That comment is as inane as the comment made by antifa members that antifa is an idea, not an actual group.

"Hey man, the SLA didn't actually kidnap Patty Hearst or rob those banks. The SLA is an idea man, not a domestic terrorist organization."

Yeah, I didn't understand that either.

These "anti-protest" groups simply function to censor any viewpoint that opposes progressive ideology.

I'd bet most were hired hands.

Yeah, except that we all watched it live on the news feeds here in Los Angeles and from other major US cities as well. Go look up all the news videos from the BLM "riots". They're still online for you to watch. Don't be shy.

The handful of straight pride demonstrators was joined by members of the far-right group Proud Boys outside of a Planned Parenthood building ahead of the rally’s start — and were met by counter-protesters draped in rainbow flags and waving signs reading “Fascists not welcome here,” the Modesto Bee reported.

200 counter-protesters show up to protest a "handful of straight pride demonstrators?" okay, den.

I thought everyone had the right to protest unmolested?

It sounds like the pro-LGBTQ and pro-choice counter-protesters don't agree with that sentiment.

I guess the guy eating a kebob in NYC wasn't so bad after all.
Why in the world would you think that?

You have a right to free speech, and to be free from physical assault or criminal charges, but no, you don't have a right to voice a controversial opinion without the other side coming and expressing their opinion, somewhat vigorously.

File away for use in future threads.

Since this opinion usually applies to specific viewpoints. Other viewpoints? Doesn't apply at all.

Didn't you have a huge problem with the man on the sidewalk calmly eating a kebab in front of animal protesters? Did you say that he was a **** because you agreed with protestors?

But violence, setting a fire and throwing waters bottles is A-OK with ClaraC when she agrees with the viewpoint!! Eating a kebab is a violent aggression, however.

Who's behaving the worst here? It's not like he was at some street vendor buying a kebab. He bought it, and then went and ate it in front of them on purpose.

I'm betting the protestor's assessment of his anatomy was probably correct.

Is eating a kebob "expressing their opinion, somewhat vigorously?"

Modesto - ha ha ha. Just another failed California town sceeded to mexico.

Nothing to see here, just another instance of whacked out right wing white christian nationalists and known insurrectionists (Proud Boys) trying to force their abhorrent lifestyle choice upon everyone else. And they are upset because some queers and anti-fascists stood up to their bullying.

Women have the right to manage their bodies. Christian extremists do not have the right to regulate others health choices OR family management.

All those folks need to be more worried about what they are going to drink or drive in that crazy state, than who has a baby or not or people's relationships.
