"Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday said the threats facing the U.S. in the 21 years since the Sept. 11 attacks have shifted from worries about foreign terrorists to growing concerns about domestic extremism."

Sure, let's just focus on parents speaking at school board meetings and people complaining about corruption in Washington and ignore completely that border patrol has caught 66 people crossing the southern border who are on terror watchlists, Who knows how many more didn't we catch.

These people are ba$**** crazy. I pray the next 911 happens on their watch so people don't pin it on the Republican whose fault it isn't.

As a person who still fully believes it was an inside job, I have a hard time taking their stories seriously.

if these people in the so called "intelligence community" really knew what they were doing and were on the ball there would have been no 911, nor for that matter no suprise attack on Dec 7th. They have a decades long record of getting things wrong or simply ignoring evidence.

If they caught Bin-Laden now in 2022 he'd be out on bail the same day.

The fact that this is likely true reflects the effectiveness of measures taken since 9/11. The external threat hasn't gone away, but we have made it more difficult for them to attack the US directly. Another 9/11 isn't impossible, but hopefully we'd catch it in time now.

Interesting there seems far less 9/11 posts these days. But seeing all the footages on TV obviously leaves a lot of unanswered questions and mysteries that makes people's mind ponder. However anyone who fail to believe or have any doubt on the official theory or what mainstream media says or oppose that security measures effectiveness would be immediately labeled as an extremist or conspiracy theorist. Kind of like COVID19. I am sure its an endemic and restrictions would come and go tighten or loosen for years to come. Fast forward 21 years follow 9/11 and we still see enhanced security theatre measures from time to time and never truely back to normal. And a contest between partisan or the left and right. One thing for certain all these events gave governments in the US and around the world unprecedented power to weld upon their people at at a whelm with no regard to established rule of law or constitution. But this isn't anything new just something that was a sleeping giant that wakes up by certain events from time to time even prior to 9/11. Originally Y2K could had woken the giant but failed.

It still baffles me that people believe the government's "explanation" that it was a 747 that hit the Pentagon -- conveniently, the section of the Pentagon that was 'investigating' the missing $3.2 trillion dollars -- and yet no pieces of airplane debris was ever found.

Like the C&C Music Factory said, "Things that make you go hmmmmm......."

How is it more difficult? They can pretty much walk across our southern border and get transportation to whichever major population center they want to go to. If anything, our current administration has made it easier for any terrorist group that wants to attack us.
