There should be no ban before 22 weeks...a fetus cannot survive outside the womb before then so it's not a person yet.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Tuesday introduced a bill that would ban abortions nationally after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
The legislation includes exceptions for incest and rape and to save the life of the mother if she is in danger from a physical condition.

1. I don't know anyone who would have an issue with this except for diehard pro abortioners who want abortion up until birth.

2. It's a state issue. He can't do anything at a national level.

3. Nothing to see here.

It's a reasonable compromise. Unfortunately, the ghouls in charge of the Democrat party and their zombie supporters will accept nothing short of a "right" to kill an unborn child up until birth and shortly afterwards.

Well, it seems like the Republicans are determined to grab defeat from the jaws of victory. Regardless of one's position on abortion, overturning Roe v Wade was the right thing to do from a Constitutional standpoint. Now, it seems as if the Republicans have completely forgotten why Roe v Wade was overturned. They're becoming as irrational as Democrats.
All of that notwithstanding, this is a stunningly stupid political move. It makes Republicans look inconsistent and will also anger the pro-abortion crowd for absolutely no reason since it has zero chance of becoming law. Finally, what Graham is proposing is blatantly un-Constitutional. Its as if he is intentionally trying to **** off everyone simultaneously.

Yeah vote for the evil left who wants to turn us into a social justice police state LMAO!!

The United States is beyond domed to marxism socialism/commuism police state if the evil left has too much majority in both chambers of congress.

Vote for the GOP please to save this country. The GOP cannot ban abortion nationwide with Biden as president. They can stop evil Biden and the leftists agenda which is what is needed to save us from marxismist/socialism/communisms fascist police state!!

This should not be a Federal issue, however, I think most Americans would agree with a fifteen week restriction on abortion. Most of Europe has stricter restrictions...

After reading the article, Senator Graham does not wish to ban abortion after fifteen weeks of gestation, but restrict it to instances of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. A ban of abortion means it cannot be obtained whatsoever, which is not what is being proposed.

Let me state, again. I do not believe the Federal government should be involved in the issue of abortion.

The Left is really ramping up their word games with this issue...

Thats true. I think 15 week ban is fine. That is a long while. There should be an allowance within first trimester which is like 6 weeks before baby looks like a human and 15 weeks is way beyond that.

I think Graham is considering that.

Though the evil liberals will try and say it was them who achieved this legislation when they wanted it free willy nily until birth. The women who want abortion better think and realize these liberals will do everything else they hate and wonder why I voted for this when they were none the wider when the only thing they did they wanted was nationwide abortion legality if somehow the dems keep the house and gain senate seats. Yikes god help us when gas prices shoat through the roof and gas stations shut down and people freeze in their homes with the evil outright war on fossil fuels and illegals overrunning our territories and middle income mortgage free people taxed to death regardless of income and these women need to realize the ones who want abortion legalized fully also do not want the other crap they never saw the evil left do.
