It's also the same as Clinton's just before his first mid-terms. How this will impact the mid-terms, especially on the House, is yet to be seen. My suspicion is that the Dodd's decision is going to bring a bunch of voters who normally don't out to the polls.

my prediction is the Canadian voter turnout won't have a major effect.

Since it's important to you, it's Dobb's.

You have to chuckle at the continued "soft bigotry of low expectations" though.

"Women won't vote unless..."

"This will get a monolithic group called 'women' off their couches and stereotypically they will vote for Democrats because of it!"

We need this? Biden's approval rating same as Reagan's at this point in the Presidency-biden.jpg We have never had such a divisive President, in this country. No previous President has ever attacked an entire group of voters, who made up 47% of the popular vote, in 2020.

Watching the right continue to defend the ex-president for stealing sensitive government documents and refusing to return them has not done any favors to the Republican party's chances. And they are going to pay for it in November.
The Republicans will win the House of Representative and the Senate. Maybe not by as much as they originally would have, but they will still win both.

Ever thought of going into Stand-Up comedy?

I'd recommend you start looking for an amateur night at a local club because that statement is comedy gold.

Great efforts were made to obscure his condition. Nancy ran things behind the scenes, along with a group of senior staff. Ronnie was able to appear in controlled press conferences and was able to read the teleprompter. His most trusted advisors knew and helped as best they could.
2nd term vs. second year.

It is kind of scary that even as a supporter, you thought his mental and physical condition might have been worse than what we've seen.

I have no doubt about that, 49 years in politics, yeah, the grift is definitely strong in him.

A win is a win, and the Senate has always looked shaky based upon the races and candidates since pre-SCOTUS official decision.

you're forgetting about the "no drama" abandonment of Afghanistan, the "minor incursion is OK" that brought us Ukraine, the "dark winter" which surely didn't sound dramatic ... etc, etc, etc...

You’ve been watching Biden’s job approval poll lately?

Obviously not

The title of this thread first scared me making me think Biden's approval rating was suddenly good and the title was beyond misleading.

Then I read the article and his approval rating is only 42% which is still bad even though improved slightly.

Though surprised to learn Regan's approval rating was once bad. I thought everyone always liked him and Bill Clinton too. Both their approval rating were once this much underwater??

Cause Reagan and even Bill Clinton should not be mentioned in the same breathe as Biden. Reagan especially is one of the best ever where as Biden is one of if not the worst president ever. Even Bill Clinton was good and well liked.
