Stunning that the farmers and governments don't use a weather modification company to seed clouds and make it rain.

Wonder why. Seems simple enough, no?

But who actually eats agave? Perhaps Navajo, but very few others.

And in its final form, agave has zero carbs and zero sugar.

???

Agave nectar contains 5 grams of carbs and 20 calories per tsp. That sweet syrup people use in mixed drinks is far more toxic for the liver than HFCS. A double whammy really as far as accumulation of liver fat because both alcohol and fructose only get processed by the liver. Throw in a pizza on top of it and it's no surprise 40% of Americans are prediabetic. Agave is a fructose syrup that's its final form as far as I know.

Welp, live with the Nuts who run the place and keep putting the same type
into office, over and over and over again.

Greenies just said heck-no to building desalination-plants.........all the water CA
could use, and then some.

We made a 10x4x2 ft high raised bed that will hopefully be enough for two of us - next season. I'm reading a popular veggie garden book and hope to be more successful than when I have tried putting the bed right into the ground. I will try freezing some veggies and making simpler items to can/jar. It's filled with compost and will spend the winter doing whatever compost does
It cost a fair bit to build this because we didn't have lumber sitting around and ordered the compost, but going forward, hopefully will just need some compost here and there.

That's turning lemons into lemonade. Even though there won't be any lemons.

Perhaps they will even stop trying to grow so many almonds? (1 almond == 1 gallon of water.)
