Effective November 3, the new conditions will be added to the restricted activity section of the PayPal User agreement, the Daily Wire first reported. Changes include prohibitions on “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “promote misinformation.” While the prior policy already forbade “hate,” “intolerance,” and discrimination, the new one now also explicitly applies to specific “protected groups” and “individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.” Identities under this umbrella include race, religion, gender or gender identity, and sexual orientation.

Everyone wants in on it now...."misinformation". aka. "you don't agree with us so we've eliminated you"

When "misinformation" ceases to be seen on the internet then we are left with an echo chamber.

That is what they seem to want.

Now Paypal, as well as twitter, facebook etc. can kick you off if you publish something they don't like and use Paypal to pay for it.

Sounds to me like they have way too many customers and are trying to reduce the number. Well, this will help do that.

Speculation here.....they could be getting ready for a digital currency...getting the "infrastructure" set up.

Because if we did get digital currency then there is no more need for a bank and paypal would benefit.

In that PayPal agreement is a reference to "protected characteristics".....talk about vague
