And then why did Pelosi walk back to confront DePape? The cops were there - he could've got the hell out of Dodge. But he goes back to confront him?

The SFPD claimed there were only 2 men...I don't see any reason to doubt this. If Paul was involved in something untoward...I highly doubt this would go public. Some crazy guy tries to kill him. Fin.
That is a whacked-out theory that makes no sense with what is known to have happened. The "Where's Nancy?" question was asked when Mr. Pelosi had made the phone call to 911. Explain that. Explain the broken window. Explain the hammer attack. Explain the bag with duct tape and zip ties.
