Having a question about the alarm system is one thing, rumors and other false accusations concerning Paul Pelosi and the violent attacker is another and what I am referring to.
Speculation based on current evidence is perfectly natural in such a suspicious situation.
We have a man who was arrested for DUI, we have a homeless person in his underwear, we have a million dollar house with zero alarms, we have both folks fighting over hammers. We have evidence of a lovers quarrel/affair or possible drug deal while Ms. Pelosi was in DC.
Everything must be on the table. None of the evidence so far makes sense.
The SFPD Chief already said they aren't going to release medical info on the perp. So, we aren't going to hear about that unless he gets a lawyer that tells us about it.
Pelosi's injuries have been reported as skull fracture and serious injury to hand and arm. I think someone may have mentioned lacerations.
What is it you don't trust?
In the first press conference, the San Fran police chief said they knew the attack wasn’t random and then faked tears about political rhetoric when he should have provided proof. He was accusing David of being influenced by politics but didn’t give any evidence. Basically he started the press conference as a neutral figure but ended the conference as a politician.
All the photographs of David filming climate rallies and nude protests were disregarded because they didn’t fit the agreed narrative for this one. Even a narrative that David was far left liberal hippy progressive and then changed, was not even mentioned.

You are days behind since that was retracted by the TV station who erroneously reported it. It was even discussed in the pages before your post, but once again, DePape was not in his underwear during the break-in and attack! There is also no evidence of a lovers quarrel or a drug deal rither. That is in the fictional account of the Santa Monica Disturber and the minds of some right wingers here.

The complaint from the Justice Department clearly states Pelosi opened the door.

Incorrect. Page 4 of the criminal complaint simply states “when door was opened”. Link is below.
Is the DOj lying?
DEPAPE stated that they went downstairs to the front door. The police arrived
and knocked on the door, and Pelosi ran over and opened it. Pelosi grabbed onto
DEPAPE’s hammer, which was in DEPAPE’s hand. At this point in the
interview, DEPAPE repeated that DEPAPE did not plan to surrender and that he
would go “through” Pelosi.
I'm guessing they have it on video and unless the confession is thrown out or he pleads guilty, a jury will hear him say it.
