Two years ago, inflation was nowhere near as high as it is now. Also, most people had more money in their 401k accounts before the stock market slide.
Generally speaking, are you better off now than you were two years ago?

The answer is obvious. Of course, there will be democrats who will lie and say they are much better off than they were with Trump, as liberals would prefer to eat bugs, living in a mud hut and burning animal dung for fuel rather than agree with anything that disagrees with far left doctrine.

It is hilarious, however, that these same libs are refusing the illegals being shipped to them, despite their false support for open borders.

Yes, have had raises and a healthy bonus. And we're not having to share our toilet paper supply with neighbors in quarantine like we were 2 years ago.

Two years ago Trumps polices set the stage for inflation and Bidens policies are making it worse. Trump increased it with his $600 a week handouts. Inflation is the money supply.

But yea Team!

Yes Trump was better than Biden. Yes Trump was a bad President.

Despite the loss of value in our retirement accounts, I have had several good promotions and raises in the last couple of years, so I'm still way ahead financially. I'm also saving $200/month by only commuting to the office 2 days a week. I'm putting more into savings and pre-tax investments than ever before. It has nothing to do with the current administration or the economy, just my hard work and my employer rewarding good performance. I'll be getting another raise of about 11% in early 2023. I'm more concerned with the availability of things we need, seeing shortages of foods like eggs, butter and pork, and other empty shelves at the supermarkets.

Life is still great. The wife and I are still working. It's just costing us a lot more now, and it sucks seeing how much our investments have dropped. It costs more at the grocery store, at the gas pump, our healthcare just went up $250 a month (was $780), somehow we owe the IRS another $20k, so...our paychecks are basically much smaller now.

I miss the the investment growth, and low costs of pretty much everything of when the orange man was in office.

Don’t forget rising taxes, higher gas prices, higher food prices, increasing crime, open borders and higher interest rates, all because of democrats.

I voted yes, not because of a lousy government being in the way.
That said I was a very fortunate blue collar union worker.
I am better off because I invested in my future by planning ahead when I was working and it has paid off with a very comfortable retirement. Home payed off along with two nice cars.
