We are in a significantly better position financially than we were two years ago, and that's all you need to know. Inflation is not a concern, although I definitely understand that it is for many other people.

Better off, and 100% because of myself, my actions, my choices.

0% credit to the greatest enemy of the American citizen that is the government at any level.

We all, every last one of us, succeed in spite of government, never because of them.

I haven't received a pay raise.

I know what our currents labor rates are for various positions because I sometimes put bids together for some of our projects.

The labor rates have gone up substantially, but like I said, I haven't got a taste of any of that.

Actually, the government gets -100% credit.

The government not only does NOTHING to contribute to our success, the government actively hinders our success.

I’m in the energy industry. I am paid salary + extra for any hours worked over 40/week.

2022 has been one of the best years in my 18 year career. It’s almost up there with 2006 & 2007. The industry came roaring back and I’ve received raises and adjustments, and I’ve been working my ass off billing extra hours… pulling myself up by my bootstraps, the conservative way! I will receive 3 more adjustments/bonuses within the next 6 months as long as I don’t quit — it is for retention as the labor market is super hot now. It also means inflation is not an issue for me.

I would not trade this for 2020’s rescinded raises and mass layoffs AT ALL. That would be the third worst year of my career. The second worst being 2009.

The worst year was actually 2021. Had to do lots of belt tightening there and hold on tight. I consider myself extremely fortunate to still be working full time that year.

Whoever is president doesn’t seem to affect me. However I am on the college educated, white collar side. I would say the blue collar side of this business tends to get reamed whenever a democrat is in that office.

Biden has cost me about a half mil in the market and the goods and services that I can buy with what I have left are greatly reduced, the Democrats do everything possible to cancel and threaten speech, and I feel far less safe in Biden's America, Biden sux.

But yea Team!

Yes Trump was better than Biden. Yes Trump was a bad President.
I'm not worse off under Biden. I finally got to retire and no, I do not have a retirement fund except social security. I worked for a Republican who didn't believe in giving his employees retirement funds. He was greedy and wanted everything for himself even though Mr. Trump gave big tax breaks to people like him. Like Trump, he use to write off personal stuff as business stuff.

I also do not miss Trumps drama and chaos, do you?

Why are you calling him Brandon? I don't get it! How do you explain the same inflation and problems in the rest of the world?
