As for AOC her influence is limited around the district she represents and she's and extreme just like Marjorie Taylor Greene but theres no love for her outside the NYC area.
AOC is a fundraising phenomenon. Almost exclusively from individual donors. There is definitely love for her outside her nyc area.
Wake up.

Very much so. In Los Angeles those crimes have been up significantly in areas close to Beverly Hills and all around Hollywood. And those are not the only ones.

Idk enough about IL, but in NY and PA the GOP basically forfeited the races by running unelectable candidates. Mastriano was one of the worst candidates of all time. The race was over the day he was nominated.

Zeldin in NY was a little better and tried to moderate little more. But, he was still far too conservative for NY. If NY GOP ever wants to win again they need to run moderates like Charlie Baker or Larry Hogan. Non ideological pragmatists who campaign on holding down spending and serving as a check against liberal excesses. Plus, Hochul is relatively new and being from Upstate isn't seen as part of the AOC ultra progressive wing.

In Illinois case, we have an electorate that has cognitive issues. High tax, slow growth, high crime, but let's keep doing what we're doing!!

They keep getting elected because 99% of the residents in the state are not affected by crime.

And MTG is known well beyond her district, in either case it doesn't make their vote any more powerful then the Congressman/woman who stands next to them.

1% may be directly impacted but if someone carjacks grandma at the grocery store and breaks her arm it affects hundreds of people that are friends and family.

They're remaining elected because there is a large portion of voters that will vote D (or R in other parts of the country) pretty much no matter what.

Because Democrats would vote for a glass of water with a D next to their name.

Idiotic statements like this one might get you a giggle for a minute, but don't you realize it creates a mental note in people that you can't be taken seriously?
