Food for thought.

I just got watching a last season (Steed/King) episode of The Avengers and was hit with the station break memory of when A&E did the show in the 90s.

A&E, Arts & Entertainment, remember them, remember that......and what they are now? Or TLC, The Learning Channel? What it was then, what it has turned into now? Even the not so serious, MTV, of what it started out to be.....and what it became.

Is this all part of a planned progression?

It's called 'immersive fantasy', the common response experienced by an audience that reacts in unison to a shared performance. I believe the term was coined by Kathleen Stock in her book 'Material Girls'.

And it ends when you leave the theatre, except in this disturbed and deluded culture.. in which case it doesn't end.
Unless we shake them up and make it end.

I agree that a person can act in insane ways while they are under the influence. It's like the enraged man or woman who stumbles upon their lover having sex with a stranger in the bedroom, and commits murder in a fit of rage. The judge could rule that they were temporarily insane. A brainwashed person is really not all that much different.

Such as this one from TBW, "Assault on the Princess" of "Jaime has regular "human" lungs and eyes, so she would not be able to withstand or see through the scorching steam-filled air in the engine room any better than the ship's personnel could."

So what's the problem? That people often judge based on only what they see, only what they know. In "bionics", one has athletes where their circulatory and respiratory systems were developed to support 4 limbs in athletic effort......and now, in the story, that heart, those lungs do not have to support 4 limbs but only one. So in the case of the above "goof", they might still be normal lungs (if one has read the books, not necessarily so) but they now have a lot of reserve capacity that they aren't using.

An additional item is that this was explained in the pilot movie years before.

So how does this all relate to the discussion? Bodies created for heavier tasks being used in less intensive efforts, just like the VW Bug's shell being replaced with the fiberglass Invader shell.....and then getting better gas mileage.

In a way, I get a kick out of that in that so many people say we ought to leave the running of the world to the scientists.......and it seems so much of the world doesn't understand science.

Not happy with who you are?
Are you tired of always coming up short?
Are you always not recognized for the special person that you could be?
Don’t want to work hard to succeed in being special to get special treatment?
Is hard work just too hard for you?

Well my little (or huge) cupcake,
Don’t you worry about a thing.
There is a way that everyone that is “not so special” can be “special” and win.
The left is here to make sure we all get the trophy we deserve.

We are smashing it in several fields like swimming and beauty pageants, and there is more to come.
Yup that right all you inferior underachieving types now have nothing to worry about.
Just pick your sport or area of competition and we will make a winner out of you.
Heck people will even offer you college scholarships .

Just follow in the path of of these transgender superstars.
Yup that’s right you will instantly be recognized as a cut above, or maybe a cut below.

Wiminz are easy to beat anyways (we will see to that) and apparently they don’t complain (we will see to that too).
So what are you waiting for?
Just sign up now to get the easy recognition you deserve.
