Yep. Gotta buddy who's an Air Marshal and he's in TX right now. Been there for about six months. They aren't allowed to do anything. They just stand around and watch the flood of illegals come across. They have orders not to stop them. He said it's destroying moral in the Marshal's and it's even worse in the Border Patrol.

I think your very generous, even years ago Air Marshall presence was only 1% and this is from 2020.

"No. In the United States., less than 1% of flights have an air marshal. With approximately 44,000 commercial flights operating every day across the U.S., it’s impossible for the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) to place an air marshal on every flight." https://www.gotravelyourway.com/2020...hals-answered/

The odds were against a Marshal being onboard even in the best of times...

I guess Biden just wanted to put on a show that he was protecting our border with these Marshal's. The gullible will fall for it though.

Just make sure everybody on the plane has a gun. If the shooting starts the good guy with a gun can open his clip. Problem solved.

To be honest, no one in the public really knows how many are on flights or even how many air marshals there are in total. It's all a guesstimate. In this more recent article than yours, from September 2022, there are up to 5% on commercial flights including international flights.

https://executiveflyers.com/is-there...-every-flight/

The thing is, if the terrorists/bad guys/drunk idiots like the razor to the women's throat guy think that a flight may have armed air marshals on it then they might hesitate in their actions. Now that they know that most of the air marshals are being sent to the border to babysit illegals then it's probably one less thing for them to worry about. Especially during the heavy traffic periods of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Again your being overly generous of what people know or what they'll try, I think 5% is also over generous but that is including International Flight but who knows. Based on all the stories that seem to have made the news in the last year none of them were resolved with an Air Marshall , all the culprits seem to be subdued by passengers and crew.

I don't think anything will stop drunk idiots and those with an inflated sense of entitlement but vigilance by the TSA in screening will go a lot farther in ensuring safety for all the flights.

How do we know WHO is entering our country? I am not anti-immigration however our government has the responsibility to ensure people entering our country are not a danger to citizens. Criminals and terrorists need to be stopped.

As long as our military invades and occupies sovereign nations, as long as they murder innocents over something which has nothing to do with protecting our borders, another 9/11 attack will happen. Not if but when.

How to make a terrorist, take an innocent man who has done no harm and kill everything he loves. You can't kill all the terrorists but you can kill the reason they want to be one. Bring the troops home and protect our borders like the Founders envisioned.

If you think security lines are long now, imagine a scenario when they need to see every person’s ammo to make sure it’s not the sort to cause cabin depressurization when someone misses a couple of shots.
