I know this by the aid they're getting -- which is massive.

"Becoming citizens" is a deflection. My comment was about "outstretched hands," not citizenship.

No one said it was "illegal". However, if these people were truly in need of asylum, they would have asked for it in Mexico. Mexico offers these so-called "migrants" asylum. The UN even declared Mexico a safe country for asylees. Yet so very few take Mexico up on their offer. We all know why. The US gives better freebies.

How could this situation have been made better? Are you upset these people rode on buses instead of planes and are in simple accommodations instead of expensive hotels? I think they hit the jackpot!
So how does your "cattle" simile work again? Please explain.

Proof?

Homeless citizens are often moved to different cities and states by the government, in all types of weather. Sometimes the government forces them to move, when the homeless person doesn't want to move elsewhere.

Why do you not care about our own homeless, the men, women and children? Many of the adults are veterans, who are homeless because of mental/physical injuries due to their service, and they often have trouble getting or keeping a job. Why do you want illegals to take up the spaces meant for the homeless citizen men women and children, including veterans, in the shelters?

Most illegals have their own homes, and families, in their homelands...where it's warm too.

"Cruel"...perhaps you should do some self-reflection on that.

I didn't say it was but you were talking about citizenship. You don't just jump our border illegally or show up at our border to claim citizenship. Lying may not be illegal either but that's what most of these asylum seekers are doing and so are illegal aliens.

Some Democrats were in favor of a wall until Trump started attacking his former party for everything.

If Trump had any sense, he would have been at least 1% complimentary of his former party, solely to get them to vote in favor of what he wanted. But when he attacked his former compatriots for basically everything under the sun, they naturally decided to vote against everything that he supported.

It’s Trump who polarized politics on this topic. Plenty of his former compatriots would have supported a wall if he hadn’t played showman and attacked them for everything. If he had basic social skills, a wall could have been built.

Did you know that Trump offered to give the DACAs green cards in exchange for full funding of the wall? Did you also know that the democrats rejected that proposal? For all their posturing and whining about the poor DACAs, one would think that they would have gone along with Trump's proposal.

When Trump was first in office, he was talking with the dems and said he wanted to work with them. Specifically, he addressed Schumer regarding this. Schumer smirked and rolled his eyes.

Democrats get their feelings hurt too easily if they can't put aside any criticism for the sake of our country. Talk about being spiteful.

I loathe Trump, but this is true.
