Stolen and mis-appropriated COVID funds probably. He will send a bill to Washington for the rest.

...then, if that were the case, we wouldn't have Millions of cars with NY tags on them down here in FLA, & so many new voter registrations from NY'ers in FLA.

Fortunately, the NY'ers fleeing are registering mostly Red, so its either:

Door #1: Pubs that gave up on NY, its higher cost of living & taxes, & attacks upon personal freedoms, or...

Door #2: NY Dems that saw what Dem policies led to in NY, & don't want the same outcome for FLA.

Mostly likely Door #1, I'm guessing.

Wait to see how fast NYC blows through that $4.2B, & how many more illegals it attracts.

Will the last New Yorker leaving, please turn out the lights when you cross the state line. I hope the illegals can afford to buy your homes.

There's buckets of money for asylum seekers.

Everyone crossing the border is now an asylum seeker per the Biden administration.
As such they get medicaid, SNAP and a reloadable debit card ($300-$400 month).

The Fed is probably providing money for housing ...maybe from the Refugee Resettlement program.

The backlog for an asylum hearing is 5 years last I read.

Their fair share, of course.

Frankly, this is great news, they should ship them more. Then more.

Most of the country is oblivious to any border crisis.

So here's a recent thing. My city, Austin, was hit with a horrid ice storm a couple weeks ago, and SO MUCH of our green canopy is broken limbs either on the ground, or hanging up in the air, called "widow makers". It's awful. Broken trees on the ground, broken dangerous trees in the air threatening to fall on people and kill them.

You know who's driving around in a truck hauling a makeshift trailer and chainsaws? And wood chippers?
Mexican men, who don't speak much English. For cash. 500, 1000, 1500 bucks they'll take care of your problem.

The city? You can call and schedule a pick up, weeks or even months out.

This country was built on people who wanted to better their lives, and were willing to work HARD, even 7 days a week sun up to sun down.

And it sounds like New York City, Ellis Island, is still open to welcome them.

Myself, I'm really hoping Jose comes back tomorrow to haul off more downed trees. This crew came from Houston, and they're sleeping in their trucks between working really hard for $$$.
The point that he is making, and this has been for long before Adams, is that many politicians do not have the guts to stand up to the woke mob and media so they will waste billions of dollars on things they should not have to do.

ok, so we're not talking about the rapists, murderers, and thieves....and the repeat offenders that are caught, evicted, and just come back

Smart move on behalf of the socialists. New York is a cesspool now but increase in population means more representation.

Conservatives need to quit saber rattling and actually start playing hardball or this country is toast. I suspect they have lost already. 2024 will be the last stand or the country is a goner.

They're not looking for welfare, as many of our citizens are, they're looking to work and get paid for what they accomplish.
And those are the last people you want working on your home....no license, no guarantees, no nothing.

Isn’t it amazing how various levels of government can come up with money for things like this, while critical needs go unmet?
