What you all STILL don't "get". Or, you do, but wanna pretend you don't so you can cast aspersions.
To a guy that has TWENTY BILLION dollars (@ just a 10% return/interest, that's FIVE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS PER DAY)....those gifts are not "extravagant".
When you have 5.5 million PER DAY coming in, you don't ask your friend that works for 250K a year (a noble job, yes...but most good lawyers make more that that) for a thing.
5.5 million ÷ 8(hrs)= $687,500.
What he gave to Ginni for her Group was like someone giving less than what they make in a hour of their work day.
The guy has TWENTY BILLION...that explains it. It's nothing to him. Like me giving someone a penny.
You are all ignoring that aspect of it...because it crushes your argument.
Sorry not ignoring the fact he’s extremely wealthy. Doesn’t matter if the figure is insignificant to the man. So what? It smacks of impropriety when it isn’t reported, and the extravagance lasts for decades. Most people want to thank a person or show their appreciation for thoughtfulness or gifts. So I ask again what does Thomas do to continue to be treated so royally? A fruit basket now and again?
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is facing more questions about his finances with a new report on Sunday about thousands of dollars of income he's reporting from a real estate firm with ties to his wife Ginni Thomas.
And that firm no longer exists, having been closed 17 years ago
Thomas, on his financial disclosure forms, reported rental income totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a firm called Ginger, Ltd., Partnership, The Washington Post reported.
But that Nebraska-based real estate firm, which was started in the 1980s, hasn't existed since 2006.

Yes...that's it. You have figured it out.
He sends them a fruit basket now and again.
And a "Jelly-of-the-Month Club" membership.
So, the media wants to persecute Clarence Thomas because it's alleged he took expensive gifts from a friend who also happens to be a large republican donor, but they look the other way as George Soros funded judges and district attorneys use the courts to destroy cities with letting criminals go free????
The most recent Democrat appointed justice can't even articulate what a woman is, so I doubt she's even smart enough to be corrupt.
The Justice dodged the loaded question. So did Senators John Cornyn, John Kennedy and Marsha Blackburn when they were asked the exact same question later.
That is incorrect. Clarence Thomas met Harlan Crow five years after he became Supreme Court Justice.
Clarence Thomas joined the Supreme Court in 1991. Harlan Crow says he met Clarence in 1996.
In a statement Crow provided to ProPublica, Crow said he and his wife Kathy have known Clarence and Ginni Thomas since 1996, describing them as “very dear friends.”
In 2011, the New York Times reported that Crow had done favors for Thomas and his wife, specifically financing a multimillion-dollar restoration of a cannery in Pin Point, Ga., which was a pet project of the justice. The Times also reported that Crow financed a library dedicated to Thomas in Savannah, Ga., and presented him with a Bible that had belonged to Frederick Douglass. It also reported that Crow had provided $500,000 for Ginni Thomas to start a political organization.
Who is Harlan Crow, the GOP megadonor who vacations with Justice Thomas?
The Texas billionaire is at the center of a ProPublica report, which describes lavish trips across the globe with the associate justice https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...-thomas-kkfaq/
Texas. Sounds like Crow been setting up Thomas for his Bush empire friends. You do know the Bush's, Clintons and Obamas are all in this together to destroy the USA and create the NWO! What better way than to take out some GOP judges at the SCOTUS level. In fact, the last judge to retire happened to be a Bush appointee too, and when he left the bench, Biden was able to replace him with a far left whack job.
