all the focus on Mass Shootings which while terrible are only a very small amount of gun deaths yet so much effort is spent focused on them that we ignore the real plague of gun shootings caused by inner city murders, often by repeat offenders, who are let out over and over again my left leaning DA's.
Its total fake news that murderers are let out time after time by "left leaning DA's", but some people are gullible enough to take it for fact.

I'll disagree - we've heard many instances of people just within the last year threatening people with knives, mugging people ect who have been let out on bail and then in a few weeks are arrested once again for either the same crime or a more vicious one. There are many examples of this on this forum - maybe you just glossed over the thread.

We heard about the car park security guard who was attacked and shot by a criminal who struggled with his assailant, wrestled the assailant's gun from him and shot the assailant, right? The victim was then arrested in hospital, being handcuffed to his hospital bed. The assailant was given his gun back and released while the security guard - the victim - was charged. Was that fake news?
We really only hear about the school shootings but people do cite the mass shooting numbers.
Most of the others though, don't make the national news, no matter how heart breaking.
So, in the interest of education let's just keep a running thread on this, I'm going to start this week where there are 3 so far.
Sunday -Orlando. "Guys with beef" per the Grandma arguing with guy on sidewalk, stray gunfire hits easter egg hunt people. Poor lady, and she doesn't want to go on camera out of fear of the shooters.

It might be that murderers are not let out time after time, but there are many examples of violent criminals that have received low bails when they shouldn't have, let out on a tether, or had charges pled down, then gone out to commit more crimes, or murder.
That is undeniable. And many examples can be shown.
The fact that crime and violence is trending down, might mean lessons were learned and this isn't happening anymore, which is a good thing. Obviously things are going in the right direction.
