Since almost half of Americans pay zero (or negative) Fed income taxes, it's kinda hard to lower their rate. So guess who get to pay more.

So naturally a solid tax base needs to be restored.

But oh, sure, go blame the Dems for their opposition undermining the federal budget, one Repub administration after another!
Oh yes, it's always the "tax cuts", never "spending". Did you take advantage of any tax cuts? Did your company take advantage of any "tax cut"? If you or your company didn't need them there was NOTHING that says you couldn't give the Government more money than you had to.

Let me guess...this "restoring" of the tax base won't affect anyone earning less than 400K...right?

As for the Government Agencies. The Forest Service and NPS have been subject to the "greenies" who refused for decades to allow forests to be maintained properly. That's not something that is because of this administration, or the previous one..it goes back SEVERAL. We are now just seeing the results of these "green" ideas.

As for the CDC...yea after COVID the best thing the CDC can do for public safety is for it to be disbanded.

The rest of us are managing to live with less, as the dollar has less spending power than it did a few years ago.

Maybe government should do the same.

You make it sound as though cuts in spending aren’t a solution.

Yeah, but they don't get that. Their philosophy is milk that cow harder, even if the cow doesn't have any more milk and is about ready to keel over dead.

Of course Biden wants to raise revenue which means more taxes for the working class.

This wouldn't be so bad IF the bigger chunk they grab from our paychecks would actually go towards something that we can all use and benefit from such as better infrastructure and Health care but no.

Any money that Biden takes from us will be going to the Democrat schemes where the ultimate goal is to garner more votes for them. They could take all our money and they would give it for Reparations and Paying off Student Loan debt. They would throw great heaps of it at the "War" on Climate change. They would hand even more of it to ensure that the "New Americans" that came across the Border were handed everything they desire. The biggest thing Biden would spend money on is the rebuilding of Ukraine if they should win the war.

Oh yeah Brandon, you are telling us we need to tighten our belts yet again while you and your cronies go on spending sprees.

Start charging the illegals an entrance fee to generate income. If they can pay a coyote, they can pay Uncle Sam.
