Biden not only overrode them, he then lied to the American people and claimed that they never gave such advice. Try reading the DOHA agreement, the civilian contractors knew of the departure plans and timeline their arrangements were not part of the US departure. What failed is that no one saw the Afghan Government doing a dump and run at the speed they did, that should have been planned for.
You are exonerating the man who created the plan and the specifics of what would remain and be removed. The reduced troop presence was IAW with the approved plan either way both are culpable and none of this has anything to do with Donnys friend....
