Iraq's prime minister said Monday his country wants some type of timetable for a withdrawal of American troops included in the deal the two countries are negotiating.
It was the first time that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has explicitly and publicly called for a withdrawal timetable — an idea opposed by President Bush.

I would say we should never have gone in the first place. We went we kicked saddams butt and hung him. Time to come home and let the Iraqi people figure out what to do with their new found independance.
The Iraq Army is starting to stand on its own and its good their president has enough confidence to go it alone. Apparently they have taken and held Mosul over the last couple of weeks. Looks like dubya was right and all the wailing crying wussified liberals were wrong. As things continue to improve iut should only help McCain. If the oil gets cranked up and exported the repubs keep the whitehouse in a landslide
