Hypothetical question:

Say somebody had an inner desire to practice cannibalism. As naturally different species prefer to eat different types of meals, this person loved eating other people. He says he was born that way. In addition, cannibalism occurs in nature quite frequently. Does this justify it? Does this make cannibalism ok in our society?

No, because cannibalism generally includes the violation of another's RIGHTS. The right to not be eaten. The right to not be killed for our flesh. The right to not have our remains desecrated in such a manner.

Regardless of if he was "born that way" or not, his rights end where mine begin.

Who are you to tell him murder is wrong? It occurs in nature doesn't it?

Isn't cannibalism a preference of diet? Like (as an extreme opposite) vegetarianism? That's not something you're "born" with. No one is predisposed to eating other people anymore than they're predisposed to eating farm animals. That's something that is socially acquired and reinforced as acceptable behavior; just like in some cultures it is permissible to eat insects and dogs/cats, although in mainstream America, it would be frowned upon.

At any rate, it's a palpably false analogy to homosexuality.

But this guy says he was born with it. Therefore it MUST be tolerated, accepted, and embraced. More cannibals should be characters in movies and TV shows, and cannibalism should be taught to children in elementary school as an "alternative diet" to make it acceptable in our society, even though its not and goes against the moral values of our people.

The only reason the argument works with homosexuality is that the only (not really) logical objections people can raise to it are

A. that it "goes against the natural order," which demonstrating examples of gayness occuring in nature disproves

and

B. that it "goes against the Bible," which also applies to working on "the Sabbath" and also to not giving all your money to the poor.

Cannibalism and murder, on the other hand, have much firmer logical moral/utilitarian arguments that can made against them, since you're decreasing somebody's happiness and enjoyment of life by ending their life, "natural" or not. Bad analogy basically... try again.

You cannot equate homosexuality, and sexuality in general, with cannibalism. For reasons already given, they have nothing to do with each other.

the constitution protects our rights as individuals. it does not protect animals in nature. unless you live in spain.
