I'll vote,it won't be for them.I use to watch political shows,now I care less.
I am into fun things again, guitar, hobbies and stuff.I don't care about news other than what I get off the forum or net.
I use to hold signs on the street corner campaigning.....blah
I feel better now because of it,who ever wins it won't matter because McCain and Obama are beholden to corrupt party politics.
Life will go on for me concentrating on my life no matter who wins.
anybody else burnt out from being political junkie?Free yourself, there are other things more important and fun in life.Drink a beer on the beach,go play frisbee, getting a ulcer over political crap is a waste.I still enjoy debate but I see now being obsessed with it is a waste.
Me too. I am SICK TO DEATH with election news & coverage!!! I don't even watch those news channels anymore and instead, I watch travel channel or food channel in the evening. It gives me better visual for my dream
Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern RULE...!!
why?Why watch FOX,CNN or whatever interviewing political hacks or politicians when the only thing I can respond with to them is call them BULLS*** artists
blah blah blah......the election is on and they will say the same old crap to get elected just like always.I already know what they are about so why waste my time getting frustrated about them?

Lol to some extent I am becoming that way also and find myself now leaning atleast looking at Mccain just to balance the gvmt.
Only because don't think Obama will do a thing which he has promised . After he voted to give immunity to the Neocon wire tapping I lost faith in him .
Think he might just be same ole same ole. Good talker but that's it.
I follow the news - national and local, extensively - and from various sources - radio, television (national networks and cable), print media (magazines, newspapers) and the Internet.
I am, and have been, "involved" in the election process - from working the polls, to running for elective office.
The problem with our country though is apathy -
Let me give an admittedly Utopian question to ponder:
What would happen if all "qualified" electors (legal age citizens) registered to vote and then voted?
I suggest to everyone that if you don't take the time to vote - to make your voice heard - you don't have the right to complain! IMHO
Oh, I vote. Always have, always will. What I can't stand is the bickering back & forth between both parties' followers and the pundits on TV. A lot of them are just talking for the sake of talking, and some of them are just downright nasty!! I can't wait for all of this to be over so I can cast my vote and move on already.
Me and the wife got rid of our TV months ago and do not intend to replace it unless we buy a cheap used one to watch dvd's on. I refuse to watch broadcast television as it is an utter waste of time.
