Well we all knew that would happen. Just like them trying to ban pocket knives now also. Being tested in Hawaii. Go figure

It has been infringed since the 1930s when they banned machine guns. And they have been banned ever since.

Funniest part is, the "Assault Weapons Ban" didn't ban any assault weapons.

Assault weapons are guns the size of hunting rifles (sometimes a little smaller), that can fire continuously as a machine gun. But none of the weapons in the AWB, can do that - they ALL fire only one shot, each time you pull the trigger. They are no different from an ordinary hunting rifle, use the same ammo, have the same power etc.

They just have a few scary-looking features that actually make no difference.

But the politicians called it an "Assault Weapon Ban", to make people think that (a) someone was carrying machine guns around out there, and (b) the brave, courageous politicians were getting them off the street.

Both are completely false. But now some people think we need those brave, courageous politicians to protect us from all those machine guns... which, in fact, don't exist outside of a few heavily-protected collections, and Hollywood movie stages.

Your government at work!
