Yeah, that would be why most of the ones who are rich from those countries come here to get operations and such for cancer and special medical needs. That would be because they have such good helathcare. You need to stop drinking the kool-aid and learn what you are really talking about.
You can't see the forest for the trees. Of what value is it to someone who doesnt have health insurance in the USA for some very rich 2nd and 3rd World country leaders to come here for our very good medical procedures???

Very little.
Hey, the indigent get healthcare in this country. Just look at all the illegals getting free heathcare. There are tons of people that get FREE healthcare and the rest of us pay for it. Quityerbellyachin'!!
You are right up the butt of Communism. A country of less incentive.
Find a job with health care if you care about yourself and your family.
Don't think you can do it? Then you underestimate yourself. We already pay for health care for folks that can't afford it.
Padcrasher is an obvious socialist. Anything to undermine the free market. He would do well to move to Seattle. You know, free needles.
And if Padcrasher feels that his tax money could be well spent socially, I could assure him that a huge donation directly to my house would be spent locally. Only a small portion would be spent on beer.
Barack's redistribution of wealth would be spent largely on beer and crack.

Yes they do and they do it in the most expensive way possible. They go to emergency rooms for critical care after getting no preventative care.
Companies that do provide insurance wind up paying the tab via sky high hospital costs passed on to insurers.
That's why you shouldn't be able to hire anyone in the USA unless healthcare is part of the deal (even an illegal) Either the employee (presents a problem here for very poor to do this) , the company (presents a problem for those hired by individuals/small companies) , or the Government should pay ( the best option because everyone is covered).

So, you even want illegals to be able to get it. You are skum for that one and prove what a socialist you are. Move your butt down to Mexico and help them and stop pushing your socialistic ways onto this country. I think I hear Chavez calling for you.
It could be done effectively but, unfortunately, it won't happen. We've allowed medicine to become a big business in this country and I'm not sure how we could transition out of that. Students racking up huge debt in medical school certainly wouldn't agree to graduate and work for a government service that didn't offer unlimited earning potential. Huge companies would go out of business, too, and send millions of people to unemployment.
But, think about it. If we had one, universal government health service, it would do away with the need for the VA, Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP and all of the various state and county health care programs. If we pooled all of that money spent on the bureaucracy and actual care in all of these systems and used it for one system, I think we could get good value for money. Plus, it would cut down the expenses for doctors offices, clinics and hospitals, too. No need for a big staff to verify benefits and work with dozens of insurance companies.
But, as I said, we'll never do it. The various lobbies would have a fit and the transition would be nearly impossible to accomplish. No country nearly our size has accomplished it.

Sounds nice but it was also do away with proper medical care.

It has to be done in increments. Start by covering all young children for instance. Once they see the cost savings Americans will not go back to the old system of survival of the fittest.
