Cindy McCain reported earnings of $4.2 million is 2007. Yet she was able to deduct over $500,000, and paid 26% of her income in federal income taxes. Why am I taxed at 28%, and she is paying 26%? John McCain paid 21%. And, I pay a higher % of my income to social security. Why shouldn't Cindy & John pay more? I am so glad that Obama will finally make the wealthiest in our country pay their fair share.
blahhhhhh, that is socialism! whaaaaaa, I don't know what socialism is, or understand that taxes are what they are "redistribution of wealth".....whaaaaaaa, blaaaahhhhhh,

just curious but did you pay $1.1 million in taxes or anything close? lol. your complaing about a 3% in different, but yet she probably paid $1.09 million more in taxes than you...you can deduct your taxes too. are you confused by this notion? start going to a CPA and not some HS educated accountant. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
First of all, even if you fall into the 28% bracket..you don't end up paying 28%. If you use TurboTax to do your taxes it actually tells you what your actual % is. Some of your income is taxed at 15%, some at the next bracket and some at 28%.
Before spouting off, maybe you should understand how taxes work.

typical right winged CDF BS.
No, it's not socialism. She just shouldn't be in a lower tax bracket than I am. It's pretty simple, really. I happen to have an MBA from a top 10 business school, and an undergrad degree from an Ivy League university in international relations and business. I think I understand what socialism is. On what do you base your brilliant opinion?

so your effective tax is 28%? prove it. scan a copy of your tax returns and blank out your name, address and ss#, etc.

I would suggest that you get your butt to an accredited CPA instead of whing and moaning and showing your jealousy. I pull in close to a million each year and I use a CPA. I would never be so stupid as to use TurboTax or anything so minor as that. There are all kinds of loopholes in the taxes. Even when my business was small, my CPA was able to find all kinds of deductions. Just because you haven't the gumption to figure out those deductions don't blame people who do. Blame yourself. And stop being so damn jealous.

awwwww, we need to bring out our credentials to try to bring people down. I don't give a jack %$#% what the hell your education level is, or what you do.
Nobody knows what is better Regen economics, or building the economy from the bottom up. People have their different views.
You are right, that isn't socialism, and it is a shame that some people find building the economy from the bottom up like FDR is socialism. Just using fear tactics on the stupid.
Also, if you could use your elitist Ivy League education, you would realize I was agreeing with you in sarcasm.
