US-Traveller, It is sad to see that so many people have no tolerance for religion when they have tolerance for gay issues. I say go for it, if a person or group lobbies for marriage to be a man and a woman. Forget the politically correct fools here. Follow your heart and morals.

Some of my gay friends don't think it would be ridiculous - they are the ones who told me about this.

I just think that there is always a compromise but people are often too bull-headed. People just want to be "right".

None of these churches is against gay marriage and they are plenty big. Western Religions seem to be the only one's hung up on gay's getting married.
Episcopalian is a Western Christian religion. And Buddhism isn't really a religion, but more of a philosophy. I know several Christians who embrace Buddhism.

Yes Episcopalians are a breakaway from catholicism in which the Church of England was established when Henry wanted a divorce. Can Catholics get divorced now? Who was more progressive?

To many buddhist, Buddhism is their religion. There are many offshoots of Buddhism. Nichiren Shoshu, Theraveda, Vajrayana, Soka Gokkai, etc. SGI-USA.com.

And its Gay Activists trying to force their views down everyones throats that's interfering with Marriage in the first place. You need to recognize that FIRST before you tell us anything else.

We are not equal but separate but we are definitely equal but different.
