For those who may have read my posting re: VT Legislative Proposal re: Sentencing for Sex Offenders (there are 34 components to this Bill)...it is, in essence, in lieu of Jessica's Law...I have been anticipating that the ACLU will become involved in some manner regarding DNA database for those who are either found not guilty and/or following an arraignment are realized that they are not offenders and what happens to them/their DNA...and should it be removed from databases.....below is the article from the Rutland Herald concerning the ACLU, the upcoming legislation and the DNA Database...
