You're an extremist, therefore your arguments are illogical.

I don't think we should bail out executives for being boneheads. But you want to punish the workers who have had to give up benefits and pay with each labor contract. Your anger with bailing out the automakers is misplaced. It's not the worker's fault. They just go to work. I do believe the job bank should be eliminated.

I am actually the most logical person in the history of the internet. I would love to see the banks fail. screw them. I don't care about the auto worker, because they set the unrealistic demands for the employer that led to the current state. the workers greed.

I take it you don't have bank accounts, 401K ... investments? All your money is in your mattress? And your auto worker argument is backwards.

I do have money in investments, and I choose not to invest in poorly run banking institutions. my bank is bulletproof.

You're right capital has no blame in giving them such a contract. They're just pawns in the hands of labor.

I suspect they will be bailed out only to be bailed out again in future

Let the companies die, let new ones take it's place their are still market options and people still need cars. Let the unions go bust as they should since they help this along. Dont bail out the banks and most of all revolt against the government when they come to get the money from YOU!!! Where do you think the money comes from?

Because they liike everbody else think they got themselves in to this mess and are not a good risk. Afetrall ;why shpould they punish their investors and employees when the auto industry did nothing when they went thru having their refineries be sold ;and not make a profit fronm the mid 70 thru 2003 when it again became profitable to run a refinery. They completely turned their industry around which is what the auto industry in US needed to do durig that same time. They do not depend on the US auto industry;as they service the world. A growing part of thier frowth is in other antions not the US.Even at thioer peak a company like exxon opnpy return like 6% profit and they have invested it wise conmpared tothe big three.
