Too bad you haven't been paying attention to anything about their culture. To strike someone with the sole of your shoe is the ultimate insult in their culture. It wasn't just throwing 'something' it was one of their cultures highest insults.

And please don't go juvenile and mock their culture or customs

He was just trying to be nice. He knew Bush will soon be out of a job and will be short on cash so he was just offering him his shoes and the company of his dog.

more like a few inches, and it would have smacked him right in the face had he not ducked. Must have been the Bush spin machine that stated it was 15 feet.

I just sent an e-mail to the White House @: comments@whitehouse.gov

..with the comment: "I hope your reflexes are as good when it comes to dodging those upcoming war-crimes trials you piece of [expletive deleted]".

That's one of the few remaining perks of our democratic system: the ability to tell our 'elected' officials exactly what you think about them!

Try it sometime.
