First we were treated to "Newsbusters", and now we are treated to Michelle Malkin.

Wow.

What I do say, is why was this matter so glossed over by most news stations during the campaign? Why were people who presented reports about Acorn and alleged Obama's ties to Acorn were called liars, radicals, etc.?
They should have just been called idiots, ACORN fraud is a right wing invention believed only by the uninformed and easily misled.

Obama and Acorn - WSJ.com
In 1992 he led voter registration efforts as the director of Project Vote, which included Acorn. This past November, he lauded Acorn's leaders for being "smack dab in the middle" of that effort. Mr. Obama also served as a lawyer for Acorn in 1995, in a case against Illinois to increase access to the polls.
During his tenure on the board of Chicago's Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for "staging, sound, lighting." It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote.

At least read the articles and so some research before calling something an invention.

I'll tell you something about the great ACORN fraud myth: There is a tiny kernel of truth to it, which forms the basis for it's existence. This tiny kernel of truth lies in registration, not actual vote fraud.

I suggest you learn to differentiate between these for a greater understanding of the basis of this enduring myth of vote fraud. ACORN exists to get the poorest and most destitute Americans their legal right, the right to vote, the single most important part of any democracy

It's the same tired hackneyed crap that's been thoroughly debunked from months if not years ago. It demonstrates only the incredible lameness of the right that some continue to post what any sane person would already know to be utter junk.

If nothing else, it is in their own best interests to see that bad apples are weeded out, so that's what they seek to do...

PBS TAVIS SMILEY: Harry Reid, put down the crack pipe. You don't work for Barack Obama? We're all working for Barack Obama.
Here's what I fundamentally believe, and there have been a number of examples since the election, Joe, that underscore this for me. I want Barack Obama to be a great president. I want him to be a great president. I believe that he can be a great president. But only if we help make him a great president. It is not left to his own devices, it's not going to happen. We have to help make him a great president.

Since when do any of us work for the President? He or She works for us and serves at our pleasure.

Here's some advice: turn off the TV; better yet, give it away. Save money on the cable bill. Give it to charity. You'll be a lot happier when you suddenly realize that the only problems you have to be concerned about are your immediate needs for that day.
