It’s likely that illegal aliens workers will take many of the construction jobs generated by the new stimulus bill paid by U.S. taxpayers since the electronic verifying provision of the plan was ripped out of the bill.
Link.
Obama and the democrats don't want e-verify.
They want to make the illegals U.S. citizens because it's more votes.
DC has not come up with a package that will make resurrect american work ethic. that is why the mexican people are here, work has become an american 4 letter word. i guess the bottom line is if you act like an american you will become an american. let us hope when they do amnesty to get the hard hats they need to do the work stimulus package, that they filter out the gang bangers from down south, gosh knows we already got enough home grown.
We will never get rid of them now. The dems are in charge and they want to legalize them. Legalize then, give them handouts to keep them dependent on them. That will guarantee them those additional votes.

I know you're right.
I'm just saying that's what I personally would hope to have happen and that's what I think would be best for the country.

I beg your pardon. E-verify was in the first House bill passed by the Democrats. The Rs ripped it out in the Senate.
Conferees did not retain language in the House-passed version of the stimulus bill that would have required companies to use the so-called E-Verify system, an online tool that employers can use to check Homeland Security and Social Security databases to verify an employee is legally authorized to work in the country. The Senate's version of the stimulus bill did not include such a provision. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce led lobbying efforts to kill the provision, and was joined by the American Civil Liberties Union and other groups.
when New Orleans was rebuilt did you see long lines of black & white at the hiring post for those construction jobs? i dont think so. everybody was mexican, its called work ethic.
guna happen again.

It's the Republicans who want the illegals to stay. They're the ones in the pockets of business, remember?
