"Wow! Brazil is big." - George W. Bush, after being shown a map of Brazil by Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brasilia, Brazil, Nov. 6, 2005

No, no – I have it now. I know exactly what you had in mind:

"It's amazing I won. I was running against peace, prosperity, and incumbency." —George W. Bush, June 14, 2001,
speaking to Swedish Prime Minister Goran Perrson, unaware that a live television camera was still rolling.
You are so mean...I guess that's why I like ya

I'm waiting for the Bidenism book to come out, it should be hysterical! Then of course we have Obamas thinking there are 57+ states. Funny stuff!

Limbaugh’s speech was a pep rally but had no substance. The majority of it was insulting “liberals” and our president. He also threw in a joke about God that surely insulted the conservative Christian movement.

I heard nothing about the cost of the Iraq war and the effect that has had, and will have, on “spending” and taxation.
I heard nothing about the state of our failing healthcare, social security, and education system and what “conservatives” believe should be done about that. He said he doesn’t see people “as victims” who are enabled by government helping them. Translation: I refuse to see problems or people in need because MY tax rate might increase.

Basically, Rush incited hatred and left with the message that conservatism means “every man for themselves!”
I am left with the impression that the conservatism movement is about money and selfishness!

Didn't you notice that Rush was looking down at papers on the podium frequently?

Yeah right, the speech was specific. The liberal movement is all about feeling good without accomplishing anything.

The hate comes from the left, and that is nothing new. They profess to want to help the poor but disdain them, those who aren't as educated as they think they are, or who talk or dress differently, or heaven forbid live in 'fly over' country. They say they want to help minorities, but in actuality, they want to keep them feeling like victims so they will keep voting for them. They want to punish success financially, unless of course we are talking about them.

A nastier bunch than liberals I have never met.

I see Rush’s propaganda of hatred and brainwashing is working for you.
One problem with Rush’s hatred campaign:
Rush has alienated the unemployed which may be 10%, the conservative Christians, and people who are still capable of thinking for themselves.

Funny, I was going to ask you which flavor of liberal kool aid you were drinking. But in the end, I decided to be nice. Liberals tend to only be nice to those who agree with them.

Other than Rush's spewing of hatred of liberals, what specifics about his speech "inspired" you?
