Looking at this weeks comedy of Congress and the AIG mess, you guys really want the government controlling your health care?

The AIG mess was brought on by corporate greed, largely as a result of deregulation, aka lack of government oversight. The health industry is essentially being run much the same, so YES I do believe government should step in.

The problem with this: THEM as you say, are US. You will pay for this even if you do not support it.

If the government has its say in this "government run health care" you can bet that there will be CONDITIONS. The one I can see happening is those that pay for this "health care" will not be able to use it. Why, they make to much money and will not qualify. The people that the health care will be offered to are those 40% of Americans who don't pay taxes.

Anyone who know a senior getting gov health care knows they are inept! Or just look at our veterans hospitals and how they are run another glowing example of the gov with their hand in health care!

The AIG was not brought on by corporate greed or deregulation, or lack of government oversight..

In addition, we're discussing the circus this week on AIG, not the down fall of AIG due to bad mortgages and an over leveraged industry...

Please post facts not emotions brought on by listening to those who are ill informed..

Once again, this is such a strawman argument since none of the proposals call for nationalizing health care. What is being called for, even in the most radical approaches is for the government to adopt a single payer policy whereby the government would act as a health insurance entity paying private health care providers.

No one, I repeat no one is proposing nationalizing private sector health care providers.

And if the procedure you want/need is denied by the "national health insurancer".. you truly have national health care.. dont you!!!
