The only discrimination white guys get is probably in regards to getting in places that are majorly minority, and even then every other place caters to mostly white guys so it ain't really that huge of a blow I would think. You may get the random white guy trying to get into an all black college, but I suspect they do that so as to have an easy run at valedictorian or something.
Only in their racist minds can they come to that assinine conclusion. Whites that go to HBCs can get scholarships easier than going to predominately white colleges but academically they still would not be considered the favorite for the valedictorian spot.

Since this country has had centuries of denying jobs and opportunites to people of color...AA was implemented to help reverse that. Basically FORCING companies to hire people of color.

I do recall at about age 6, my family lived in Lisbon, Carcavelos more precisely. Precisely because Carcavelos has a beach that has always been referred to as Gypsy Beach. We lived about a half mile away. From Gypsy Beach, the 'gypsies' would row their boats out into the Atlantic, throw nets, catch fish, return to the beach, sort the fish and clean their nets.
One fine day as they were about their tasks I spotted a boy about my size and I guess we recognized the human interaction signals to play. So we both headed toward a common point, a table on the beach which apparently we would meet at and become friends. As we were each a matter of only a few yards from the rendezvous I heard a foreign voice shout out, the boy turned and ran.
I don't know what the foreign message was but that kid took off. I can only imagine it meant something like 'stay away from that dirty white boy'. I've been lonely ever since.

My last job in PC Corporate America had me (an auto mechanic) working for a black manager who had no idea what I was talking about 99% of the time. This, never the less, in no way deterred him from shooting me down because he felt that I, an ASE certified master mechanic and advanced provability specialist with many years of dealership experience and factory training, didn't know what he knew. A few months after I left, they closed down. I have to assume because they simply couldn't keep mechanics. That's AA in action.
Affirmative Action in action? Why do you assume the manager was an Affirmative Action hire? Because he was black?
This may come as a surprise to you but there are plenty of incompetent white managers in this country...sometimes companies make bad hires. Has nothing to do with Affirmative Action.
What kind of moron, (besides the government) who wants to make a profit, believes in quotas or hiring based on skin color or sex? The Government doesn't own its citizen business. They can't tell anyone who they can and can't hire.
A business wants to hire only one sex or one race more power to them. It's their money. That said, I wish I was in business next to someone who only hired from "one pool" of people. I'd hire the most qualified and put them out of business.

So because some whites practiced job discrimination you are okay with whites, not the same ones who practiced the discrimination mind you, being discriminated against. The irony is killing me.
