Kind of ironic to have people espouse the benefits of Earth Day from their computers which are made from plastic (petroleum based) and powered either by carbon producing power plants or taoxic chemicals filled batteries

I used to recycle plastic bags until I saw a film similar to what is said at this site. Now I just throw them away.

Recycling Can Fix This, Right?

We take plastics to be recycled and save papers/junk mail for the school to sell. We sell pop cans for us!

Didn't do anything special today, but talked about the global warming hoax at work.

Fire up my 10 cyl Ford excursion hook onto my trailer. Go get a load of coal off load that cut down a few trees that block my view of the lake. Maybe after that I will start up the ole dozer and fill in the swamp out back to cut down on the skeeter population.

Planted some water grasses around the pond. Sowed the back field with a seed blend that attracts
deer, birds, wild turkeys and other wildlife. Planted 2 climbing Peace Rose bushes to grow up a dead
sassafrass tree. (Okay...I was actually the straw boss.) Read this thread and marveled at the number of people who find Earth Day amusing, as opposed to a day to give back to the planet some of what we've taken from her.

Nasty you!

I'm going help REBUILD the rainforest by smoking a cigar!

Trees need all the CO2 they can get.
