Unnatural? You mean you've never seen pigs fly?

Seriously, I wonder why you think so. Let's say you worked at a Hormel food processing plant. Hormel sells both pork and chicken. What about Armour? Hot dogs are available as beef or turkey. I've also seen chicken dogs in the supermarket. Also, why wouldn't someone who lives/works on a farm be exposed to both?

Just a friendly reminder:

Asian Flu Pandemic (1957-1958) 69,800 dead in the U.S. alone.

Hong Kong Flu (1968–1969) 33,800 U.S. fatalities

errrr, US annual death rate from flu sits at around 36000. nobody said this is a govt joke or that it is not a serious illness. the reality is that it happens, whether we like it or not and there is very little that can be done about it. i'm sorry, i just don't buy into flu vaccines as a solution to the problem

if i knew of a vaccine for this i certainly wouldn't tell you about it for your own good. the last time swine flu reared it's ugly head in the states, more people died from the vaccine!

"Is it time to close the border until we can get a handle on this?"

Excuse me but the border should have been closed years ago to keep illegals out, not the flu. What did our useless government think would happen when nothing was done to protect the sovereignty of this country? This "swine" flu is only the latest import to say nothing of the massive influx of illegals along with the basically unrestricted flow of drugs from a morally corrupt and financially bankrupt country sitting on our southern border.

It is all over and people better wake up and hope that something like the black plague does not move world wide like this has so quick.

for ---- sake, where did i say that this was a joke? where? Where exactly? now that you are done putting words in my mouth. the US with a pop of 300 million has around 36000 flu related deaths per year. mexico city has 20 million inhabitants. at NORMAL US fatality rates, 2400 mexico city inhabitants would NORMALLY die from flu. i don't think they've had 100 deaths yet. is this something to laugh at? no. do we need a little perspective? i think so

Just like the gasoline situation last summer.

It's just more sensationalistic media crap used to make ratings because it scares the sheeple. Antiviral Tamiflu knocks it right out, anyway so whatever, I'm not worried. Wasn't worried about SARS or bird flu or hanta virus or any other virus-panic-of-the-moment.
