Even though we disagree on the subject discussed on this thread, I just HAD to rep you for this. Couldn't agree more...which is why I'm disgusted with these wars just as much as with abortion.

We do not know when life begins. It's not a fact...we all have our own opinions on it. That said, I'd prefer to err on the side of caution which is why I do see the fetus as a person and am thus against abortion. A woman's opinion alone on when life begins should not be the only criteria for determining whether that life (whether it is a life or not) has the right to continue.

I proved life begins at conception in post #10. But let's accept your premise for a moment, that we don't know when life begins. That means by your own definition, you may well be killing a person in cold blood when you abort your fetus. How the hell could you live with yourself for doing that? What kind of savage are you?

Interesting you assume only the worst of people. Odds are those millions of aborted kids would have grown up to make positive contributions to society. Abortionists have effectively wiped out a country of 40 million since 1973. Think of all the greatness that has been wasted because of women's selfishness.

First, Bin Laden has NOT pledged to kill zero American lives after 9-11. Where do you come UP with this stuff?
Second, yes, Bush DID save lives with his strong stance against terrorism. However, he had TO TAKE LIVES in order to save lives. Lots of people died...innocent people (including children) so Bush could protect us from terrorism.
Third, your fantasy that 40 million aborted fetuses would have grown up to be Pollyanna is just plain ridiculous. Your arguments are starting to sound desperate and almost childlike. How old are you?

Because you have an opinion, does not make it a scientific fact. A fetus can not survive outside of the womb until about 23 weeks or so. Maybe that is my opinion of when life starts.
Would you consider it your business if a woman sliced open her toddler with a butcher knife, took out his guts, then threw his body in the dumpster?
toddlers think, see, feel... embryos don't. I'd rather Casey Anthony have had an abortion than do what she apparently did. Wouldn't you, or don't you see the difference?
