You too are intolerant. VERY intolerant.
You have a really bad habit of responding to posts quoted to others.

oh well then good evening to you too... if it didn't cross your mind, then why did you say it in a reference or jest? Seems it was quick to come out of your mouth, when you were quickly offended by a perception of me being anti-christian...your choice to use it so quickly says alot... so you go ahead and feel offended..
Challenging christian beliefs doesn't make you anti-christian.. most of my family is christian and I love and respect them, but it doesn't mean I'm going to lap up everything they believe as truth, or that what they say is off limits to be debated or analyzed...
You're either too sensitive... or you have a chip on your shoulder.. thinking the world is out to destroy you and your causes... which is absurd..put on your big girl panties or try the religion topics forum if the political wrelm is too much for you to handle without jumping to conclusions and losing the plot...

Exactly. I challenge Christianity all the time. I am against it becoming a part of the government and when Christian beliefs harm this country by taking away rights from other groups. Or when they harass people of other faiths telling them they are "lost" or whatever.

Most of my friends are Christian. I have no problem with it. They can do whatever they want. As long as they dont tell me I am "lost", I am cool.

And the funny thing is that people like Sonrise have no problem telling gays they cannot get married or telling a woman who was raped she must have the child because of their BELIEFS. Yes, BELIEF. Not a fact. BELIEF is your opinion and what you think.

I am going to say that these people would never ever be able to take it and scream we are just all anti Christian.

Wah! Boo hoo!

I'm not anti christian.. If sonrise were a muslim or a jew blabbing on about their faith beliefs..and how THEIR faith is what has given society it's moral premis.. I'd be saying the same things..
If you want to sit here and tell everyone that the thing that keeps you from killing, adultery, stealing, lying etc is your "god" or relgious practices.. i'm sorry but that is outrageous and downright scary...I don't assume that it's the case, but for them to not reference it takes away from the premis of their argument and the importance of "god" in formulating morals...
So the only option it allows us to assume if we're going to take them from their word is that that "god" or religion is the only thing keeping them from acting like animals... seems these people need to be willing to level a bit on where morals come from in order to keep from sounding so ridiculous

If it were my son, I'd tell him to go to the Prom with his Girl Friend and have fun.
