If for no other reason is logistics - the number of people who, for whatever reason, legal or otherwise, and the underground economy, who do not file tax returns - do not pay taxes, make it impossible.

World Health Organization rankings of World Health Care systems by Country

If you are looking for the USA go all the down to Cuba and Costa Rica...LOL

All of the top ranked systems are Single Payer and cost in per capita GDP than the US "model"

That's a silly argument...the underground economy that doesn't pay taxes ....doesn't pay for defense either...are you advocating we not have a military?

Oh yes...single payer must be compulsory...you got that right. Everybody must pay in ...via taxes paid by the employer, or employee. Nobody can opt out.

Health insurance will remain voluntary.

This concept is even supported by the current Administration.
