Harry Truman chose to put America on Israel's side in part because he felt we owed Jews a debt for failing them during the Holocaust. Today's America is faced with the same choice but now the "jews" are native born Arab Christain and Moslem Palestinians who are facing Israel's ethnic cleansing. America is going to have to choose whether we stand for ethnic cleansing by supporting Israel or we don't.

Most Americans don't even know the US gives Israel billions or even what is going on.

Personally, I'd prefer the US to forge a relationship with Iran, but that conflicts with our relationship with Saudi Arabia.

What a brilliant idea! Let’s make friends with Iran who was arming militants and killing our people and civilians in Iraq. You are a sound like another idiot who thinks Obama can win the hearts of all who hate us. You're as deep as a piece of paper. Maybe that’s what they mean by being transparent! Pardon me but you come across as a Jew hater. Are you going to burn a cross on my lawn?

Yeah, it's probably better to alienate everyone in the world.
That works really well, doesn't it.

We never should have been in Iraq, so your point is meritless.

Obama being a Muslim himself did not think twice about bowing down to this Earthly King, who with out our oil money is just another nobody. Obama is a transparent sellout.

I believe this is preferable to a relationship with Israel. The US has done a number of bad things against Iran also, but forging a stronger relationship would be mutually beneficial. Israel on the other hand offers little, its a tiny little country with no resources. Any military benefit gained from the relationship would be unnecessary if the US built better relationships with countries like Iran.

Also, your average Iranian does not hate Americans. Iran is nothing like Afghanistan, etc.

Equating being against Israel with being a Jew hater is rather silly. I dislike Zionism just as I dislike National Socialism. Are heredi Jews, Jew haters? Exactly when in American History did people burn crosses on Jew's lawns?

Well your president has decided to stay in Iraq. How does it feel to know your point is also merit less? He lied to you and you can't even admit it. Funny thing is we don't hear about the liberal nonsense in Darfur any more. Did you master Obama tell you all to keep quiet? Liberals run when it gets too hot.

So you think Iran had the right to kill our people who were doing their duty? You sound like you hate our military. Liberal idiot.

With that thinking I assume you believe Bush was on their side also, being that he kissed him and walked hand in hand with him.

I see you have a problem with reading comprehension, guess it doesn't meet your partisan viewpoint.
I've been working for/around the military for decades, since I was enlisted.
If we didn't attack a sovereign nation, this wouldn't have occurred, now would it?
How many Iraqis are dead as a direct result of US actions? 100k or more.
