I'm a conservative and a Christian. Theoretically, I'm not for abortion.
Having said that, might I add my teen daughter got pregnant and decided to keep her baby. I didn't see ANYONE from the proLife Calvary charging in to help. If anything, she was a little shunned by those who claim to be morally superior.
So, unless someone is willing to put their money where their mouth is, they need to shut up.
I agree with the Libertarian platform. This choice is between the parents and their conscious....NOT the governments business.
Not just the abortion issue, but a whole range of so called social issues or morality issues, is why the libertarian party has never garnered more than, what, 3% of the vote on a national level. I am very libertarian in my views, as I think the federal governments 1 responsibility should be the military and national defense. However when it comes to a innocent human life, we as a nation must stand up to protect it.

Many people consider abortion murder. I am one of them. There is no right to kill another human except in self-defense.
If you have a bunch of pro lifers in one state and they all vote to outlaw it, what happens if there is an emergency?
